Post subject: I am making my first tesla coil

I am making the secondary coil out of the red thin gauge wire obtainable at radio shack. For capacitors I am going with lyden jars since putting several capacitors in series just to be able to withstand the voltage plunges it capacitance so I am am putting lyden jars in ||. My step up transformer is an ignition coil. Wish me good cake with the experiments.
